About me

I’m a marketing copywriter by way of academia (nineteenth-century British literature), with a side quest into health and fitness. In my current position at Nomi Health I create content for diverse audiences: brokers, TPAs, employers, journalists, and the general public. My work regularly spans several genres from investigative healthcare journalism, to thought leadership, to educational materials, to direct member communications.

Marketing copywriting is the natural culmination of my career trajectory. Compelling content often articulates what someone hasn’t yet articulated to themselves, and my career has trained me to do exactly that. University classrooms and writing centers showed me that strong writing emerges from collaboration, from workshopping ideas until they resonate with an audience. In the fitness industry, I refined this skill: I listened to what clients said they wanted, helped them discover what they actually needed, and tailored my communication to motivate action. At Nomi Health, I’ve applied this to healthcare marketing, crafting clear messages about complex ideas for brokers, employers, and journalists. Every stage of my career has reinforced the same principle: effective writing connects with people, clarifies their needs, and moves them to act.
